Volleyball Recap: Firth Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Firth was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of South Fremont last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars fell just short of the Declo Hornets by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hornets earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Firth took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-23, 22-25, 25-21, 15-11.

Firth now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Declo, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Firth will square off against West Side at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Declo, they will welcome Buhl at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
