Softball Recap: Wilmot Comes Up Short

Wilmot lost to Burlington on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 13-3 to the Demons, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wilmot's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Burlington, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-7.

Looking ahead, Wilmot will welcome Kenosha St. Joseph Catholic/Christian Life at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Kenosha St. Joseph Catholic/Christian Life has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.83 runs per game on average), something Wilmot will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Burlington, they will face off against Waterford at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
