Mendez scored the most points they've had this season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough. They lost to the Roybal Titans at home by a 75-59 margin. The defeat continues a trend for the Jaguars in their matchups with the Titans: they've now lost seven in a row.

Mendez's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Steven Diaz, who went 8 for 10 on his way to 19 points. Victor Sauceda was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.

Roybal had a senior duo take command as Samuel Kunga posted 30 points and Abayome Shambulia had 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kunga has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Seth Morris, who scored seven points.
