Basketball Recap: Durango Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Durango can now relate to. They received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 61-47 to the Montrose Red Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Red Hawks this season, with their most recent loss being a 37-26 defeat two weeks ago.

Montrose's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaleb Ferguson, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Lane Pressler, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten rebounds.

Durango has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-11 record this season. The win made it two in a row for Montrose and bumps their season record up to 19-6.

As of now, neither Durango nor Montrose have any future games scheduled.
