Softball Recap: Chandler Prep Has No Trouble Against Fort Thomas

Chandler Prep got themselves on the board against Fort Thomas on Friday, but Fort Thomas never followed suit. They blew past the Apaches 15-0. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by ten runs or more this season.

Lucy Garner was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Elise Hirsch and Giada Lowman did most of the damage at the plate: Hirsch scored two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances, while Lowman scored two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Kylie Drost, who scored four runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Chandler Prep always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .688. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .541 or higher in four consecutive matchups.

Chandler Prep's record is now 6-3. As for Fort Thomas, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
