Drury won the last time they faced Smith Academy and things went their way  on Friday too. The Blue Devils put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp  11-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Blue Devils, who have now won seven matchups by ten  runs or more  so far this season.
 Brayden Durant made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Durant was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  double.
 In other batting news,  JJ Prenguber was  incredible,  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with three  stolen bases, four  runs,  and three  RBI. He also  hit a  triple, marking his first of the season.  Julian Faliciano was another key player,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
 Drury  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .606. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Smith Academy only posted  an  OBP of  .167.
Drury's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Smith Academy, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the  defeat, which was their fourth straight  at home.
 Drury has already played their next contest,  a  9-2  win against McCann Tech on the 7th. As for Smith Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  game,  an  8-0  loss against Lenox Memorial on the 7th.
