Soccer Recap: Corry Takes a Loss

Corry lost against Franklin back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Beavers came up short against the Knights, falling 4-0. Aidan Gluvna was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Corry's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Franklin, the win snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 2-7 record.

Looking ahead, Corry will square off against Saegertown at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Franklin, they will challenge Oil City at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Franklin will be up against Oil City's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.89 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
