Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Bishop Shanahan's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 55-25 loss at the hands of Coatesville. Bishop Shanahan was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-12.
The losses dropped Downingtown West to 7-1 and Bishop Shanahan to 4-4.
