Volleyball Recap: Port of Los Angeles Takes a Loss

If Port of Los Angeles was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Hawkins last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Polar Bears came up short against the Fremont Pathfinders on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Polar Bears haven't had much luck with the Pathfinders recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Port of Los Angeles' defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Fremont, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Port of Los Angeles is set to face off against their familiar foe Foshay at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Fremont will square off against rival Jordan at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Pathfinders are on a nine-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), the Bulldogs a five-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
