The scorekeeper got an easy start on Tuesday as neither Seymour nor Camp Point Central made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Indians sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over the Panthers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Indians have posted since April 24th.

Seymour now has a winning record of 13-12-1. As for Camp Point Central, their loss dropped their record down to 14-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Seymour is set to take on their familiar foe Rushville-Industry at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Camp Point Central will square off against rival Quincy Notre Dame at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
