Basketball Recap: Adrian Sets Scoring Season-High Against Harper

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Adrian). They enjoyed a cozy 70-54 victory over the Harper Hornets on Saturday. The Antelopes have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hornets, too.

Adrian pushed their record up to 12-7 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.7 points per game. As for Harper, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Adrian will venture away from home to square off against Four Rivers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Harper, they will head out to challenge Huntington at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Harper is facing Huntington at the right time seeing as Huntington is stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
