Basketball Recap: Sandia Prep Comes Up Short

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Sandia Prep and Bosque, and Sandia Prep kept the tradition alive. The Sandia Prep Sundevils fell just short of the Bosque Bobcats by a score of 47-44 on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, with their most recent loss being a 59-32 defeat last Thursday.

Bosque found their leader in sophomore Josiah Wilson, who shot 50% from the field on his way to 14 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Oliver Tumolo, who posted seven points along with nine boards and three steals.

Sandia Prep's loss dropped their record down to 15-13. As for Bosque, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Sandia Prep nor Bosque have any future games scheduled.
