Basketball Recap: Upper Scioto Valley Takes a Loss

Upper Scioto Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were beaten by the McComb Panthers 62-31. The Rams were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Despite the defeat, Upper Scioto Valley had strong showings from Ruby Risner, who posted eight points, and Kamyn Titus, who scored nine points.

Upper Scioto Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for McComb, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Upper Scioto Valley will host Ridgedale at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th. As for McComb, they will welcome Pandora-Gilboa at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. McComb is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.
