Football Recap: Hortonville Comes Up Short

Hortonville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts, falling 37-16. The Polar Bears were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 24-0.

Hortonville's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Kaukauna, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hortonville is set to face off against their familiar foe Appleton East at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th. Meanwhile, Kaukauna will challenge rival Neenah at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th. This will be the Galloping Ghosts' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
