Long Beach is a perfect 3-0 against Poplarville since November of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Bearcats will head out to square off against the Hornets at 7:30 p.m. Long Beach is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

It was a proper cat-fight when Long Beach faced off against Bay on Thursday. The Bearcats fell 4-2 to the Tigers. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Long Beach couldn't quite close it out.

Braiden Bonds wasn't going to let Bay walk away unscathed as he scored both of Long Beach's goals, bringing his season total up to seven goals.

Meanwhile, Poplarville entered their match against Sumrall on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Hornets lost 3-0 to the Bobcats. The contest was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Poplarville struggled afterwards.

Long Beach's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Poplarville, the defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 2-2-2.

Long Beach was able to grind out a solid win over Poplarville when the teams last played back in January, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bearcats since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
