Softball Recap: Mcgraw Now 10-1 over Last 11 Games

It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but McGraw ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They beat the Stockbridge Valley Indians by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 5-4. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Remington Stull spent all nine innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up 14 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, McGraw secured the victory behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Addisyn Rolewicz, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

McGraw has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Stockbridge Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

McGraw will have a chance to go back-to-back against Stockbridge Valley: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
