Soccer Game Preview: Bishop Watterson vs. Hamilton Township

The Bishop Watterson Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Hamilton Township Rangers at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.

Bishop Watterson is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering St. Francis DeSales just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Tuesday. They and the Stallions finished up their contest with a 2-2 draw. The result kept Bishop Watterson happy, as they haven't lost a game since September 23rd.

Meanwhile, Hamilton Township entered their tilt with Logan Elm on Wednesday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over the Braves. The result was nothing new for Hamilton Township, who have now won eight matches by three goals or more so far this season.

With that draw, Bishop Watterson's record moves to 8-4-3. As for Hamilton Township, their win bumped their record up to 12-2.

Everything went Bishop Watterson's way against Hamilton Township in their previous matchup back in August of 2019, as Bishop Watterson made off with an 8-0 victory. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rangers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
