Baseball Recap: Christian Brothers Comes Up Short

Christian Brothers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Briarcrest Christian Saints. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Purple Wave have suffered since May 21, 2024.

Christian Brothers' defeat dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Briarcrest Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.

Christian Brothers will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Brighton at 2:00 p.m. As for Briarcrest Christian, they will head out to take on Lausanne Collegiate at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
