Volleyball Recap: Pope Francis Prep Find Success + How To Watch

After losing to Southwick Regional the last time they met, Pope Francis Prep decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cardinals sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Rams on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cardinals.

Pope Francis Prep had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 19-25, 25-13, 25-22, 15-8.

Pope Francis Prep's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Southwick Regional, they dropped their record down to 6-9 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Coming up, Pope Francis Prep will head out to face off against Veritas Prep Charter at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Southwick Regional, they will be playing at home against Turners Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
