Livingston's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past the Shepherd Pirates 3-0. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

One reason for the win was Livingston's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-14, 25-8.

Livingston's victory bumped their record up to 12-13. As for Shepherd, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-20.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Livingston is set to take on their familiar foe Hamshire-Fannett at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Shepherd will challenge rival Tarkington at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
