Softball Recap: Cheraw Comes Up Short

Cheraw was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 12-4 to the Chesterfield Golden Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 back in March.

Cheraw's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Chesterfield, their victory bumped their record up to 7-10-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Cheraw is set to take on their familiar foe Andrew Jackson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Chesterfield will face off against rival North Central at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
