On Thursday, Yukon faced Putnam City in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Yukon Millers won by a goal and slipped past the Putnam City Pirates 1-0. Winning may never get old, but the Millers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Yukon's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-2. As for Putnam City, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-3.

Yukon will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Guthrie at 8:15 p.m. on March 25th. Yukon is facing Guthrie at the right time seeing as Guthrie is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Putnam City also won't see the pitch for a while: their next match is against Grant at 8:00 p.m. on March 25th.
