Recap: Lawrence County Red Devils vs. Brewer Patriots
The Lawrence County Red Devils's three-game losing streak came to an end on Monday. They came out on top against Brewer by a score of 63-55. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Lawrence County got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Braylon Dame out in front who scored 16 points along with two steals. Dame has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Ben Newton, who scored eight points along with seven assists and three steals.
Cason Oden and Jackson Dunn certainly did their best on Monday to try and avoid the loss. Oden scored 13 points along with five rebounds and two blocks, while Dunn scored 19 points along with nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Austyn Holmes, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and five assists.
The win got Lawrence County back to even at 13-13. As for Brewer, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-14.

West Morgan has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 433 points over their last seven games. As for Brewer, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Danville at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th. Danville and Brewer are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
