Basketball Recap: Bigelow Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bigelow can now relate to. They fell 61-49 to the Quitman Bulldogs on Monday. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Bigelow's defeat dropped their record down to 21-9. As for Quitman, their victory was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 30-1.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers take on the Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Quitman, they will challenge Des Arc at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Quitman has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 196 points over their last three games.
