Baseball Recap: Crawford Takes a Loss

Crawford lost against Kearny on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Colts fell 8-5 to the Komets. The Colts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Abraham Carillo-Ceron was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Crawford's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 4-1 (and 4-8 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Abbel Martinez, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
