Softball Recap: Scott Takes a Loss

Scott lost against Ulysses on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Beavers lost 22-10 to the Tigers.

Crissa Irvin was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 4-for-4. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Piper Fox, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Scott's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Ulysses, the win was the sixth in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Scott will square off against Holcomb at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ulysses has already played their next game (against Lakin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
