Softball Game Preview: Eustace Bulldogs vs. Malakoff Tigers

Eustace hasn't had much luck against Malakoff recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Eustace will venture away from home to face off against Malakoff at 6:00 p.m. Eustace has given up an average of 7.4 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Eustace is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten runs on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Mineola on Friday. They lost 21-1 to the Yellowjackets.

Meanwhile, Malakoff has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.05 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of Edgewood. The Tigers' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Eustace's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Malakoff, their loss dropped their record down to 15-6-1.

Eustace might still be hurting after the 15-1 defeat they got from Malakoff in their previous meeting on March 7th. Can Eustace avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
