Baseball Recap: Cameron Comes Up Short

Cameron fell victim to Talihina and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Tigers. The Yellow Jackets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Golden Tigers earlier this season, when they won 4-3.

Cameron's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-6. Those home defeats can't be blamed on the team's pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Talihina, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-6.

Looking ahead, Cameron will take on Keyes at 4:00 p.m. on the 17th. As for Talihina, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-5 loss against Wister on the 10th.
