Basketball Recap: Dugger Union Takes a Loss

Dugger Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 101-14 loss at the hands of the Clay City Eels. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 56-7.

Weselon Smith was Dugger Union's leading scorer, having posted seven points.

Dugger Union's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Clay City, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-3.

Coming up, Dugger Union will face off against North Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clay City, they will take on Riverton Parke at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
