Baseball Preview: Acalanes Dons vs. Miramonte Matadors
The Acalanes Dons are taking a road trip to square off against the Miramonte Matadors at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Acalanes has four straight victories, Miramonte has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

At the plate, James Stadt was excellent, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 1-for-4. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of David Gonzales, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.
Acalanes always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Vintage only posted an OBP of .259.
Meanwhile, Miramonte fell victim to Campolindo and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars.
Acalanes' record is now 5-1-1. As for Miramonte, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
