Basketball Recap: Inglewood Piles Up the Points Against Santa Monica

Inglewood had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They blew past the Santa Monica Vikings 90-51. The Sentinels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 24 points or more this season.

Inglewood got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Cayim White out in front who went 13 for 23 from beyond the arc on his way to 39 points. Those 39 points gave White a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jason Crowe Jr, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 assists.

Inglewood smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 15 consecutive matchups.

Inglewood's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 91.8 points per game. As for Santa Monica, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-8.
