Basketball Game Preview: Old Lyme Wildcats vs. Hale Ray Noises

Old Lyme and Hale Ray are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Old Lyme Wildcats will square off against the Hale Ray Noises at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Old Lyme came up short against Ellington on Friday, falling 69-48. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Hale Ray beat Lyman Memorial 49-37 last Saturday.

Old Lyme's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 0-2. As for Hale Ray, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Old Lyme took their win against Hale Ray in their previous meeting back in February by a conclusive 48-27. The rematch might be a little tougher for Old Lyme since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
