Basketball Recap: Kenya Johnson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Jackson North Side over Hardin County

Jackson North Side was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They came up short against the Hardin County Tigers, falling 54-29. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-29 back in January.

Jackson North Side's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kenya Johnson, who posted ten points and seven rebounds. Johnson has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times she's played.

Jackson North Side's loss dropped their record down to 3-24. As for Hardin County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-12.

Looking ahead, Jackson North Side will head out on the road to square off against Lexington at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hardin County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
