The Pocahontas County Warriors are taking a road trip to square off against the Greater Beckley Christian Crusaders at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

Pocahontas County is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their tenth straight game dating back to last season back in March. They lost 16-1 to Pendleton County.

Meanwhile, Greater Beckley Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over Summers County on Thursday, taking the game 10-6. That's two games straight that the Crusaders have won by exactly four runs.

Allison Moten and Leah Adkins made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Moten didn't allow a single earned run over 4.1 innings pitched. Meanwhile, Adkins pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
