Lennox Academy has gone 8-2 against New Roads recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Panthers will welcome the Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Lennox Academy comes in on three and New Roads on four.

Lennox Academy's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past Morningside 10-0. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.

New Roads came out on top against Jordan on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Jaguars walked away with a 7-3 win over the Panthers.

New Roads' victory was truly a team effort as eight different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Asamino Spong, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. That's the most hits Spong has posted since back in February. Sawyer Hollis was another, going 2-for-5 with one stolen base and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: New Roads kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

New Roads' win bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Lennox Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 9-10.
