Western Reserve was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Memorial only posted a batting average of .235.

Western Reserve moved to 7-5 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Memorial, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
