Basketball Recap: West Muskingum Extends Winning Streak to Three

West Muskingum had won two straight games and Noah Morrison did his part to make it three on Tuesday. The West Muskingum Tornadoes blew past the Morgan Raiders 70-50 thanks in part to Morrison, who went 6-for-8 from beyond the arc en route to 30 points and five steals. Those five steals gave him a new career-high.

The team also got some help courtesy of Cade Porter, who posted six points and five rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 60% in the last four games he's played.

Several Raiders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cole McGill, who had eight points. Another player making a difference was Jordan Harlow, who scored nine points.

West Muskingum's victory bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Morgan, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season.

West Muskingum didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 80-57 loss against John Glenn on the 14th. As for Morgan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 46-45 defeat against New Lexington on the 14th.
