Parker's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past the Carver Birmingham Rams 9-2. The result was nothing new for the Thundering Herd, who have now won five contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Parker's victory was truly a team effort as two different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Kamila Dabney, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2. Leah Ray was another, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in both of her plate appearances.

Parker always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .647. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Parker's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Carver Birmingham, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parker will welcome Jackson-Olin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Carver Birmingham, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wenonah at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
