Everything went their way against the San Benito Greyhounds as they made off with an 11-3 win. Considering the Hornets have won 13 matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Jenise Ramirez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Marissa Delgado, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, seven RBI, and one triple. Those seven RBI gave her a new career-high.
