Baseball Recap: Tekamah-Herman Comes Up Short

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Tekamah-Herman was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They fell just short of the Centennial Broncos by a score of 2-1. The Tigers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Cale Belfrage spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on three hits and racked up nine Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

Tekamah-Herman's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Centennial, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-13.

As of now, neither Tekamah-Herman nor the Broncos have any future games scheduled.
