Volleyball Recap: Legacy Christian Academy Eagles vs. John Paul II Cardinals
Legacy Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the John Paul II Cardinals, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 7th.
Legacy Christian Academy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-16, 25-21.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead John Paul II to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mia Forkner, who had nine assists and two aces. Those nine assists gave Forkner a new career-high.
Legacy Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for John Paul II, they pushed their record up to 32-14 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
