The Cherokee Bluff Bears will challenge the Baldwin Braves at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Cherokee Bluff comes in on seven and Baldwin on 12.

Cherokee Bluff is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 56-55 victory over Jenkins.

Meanwhile, Baldwin was able to grind out a solid win over Fayette County on Friday, taking the game 62-55.

Baldwin's win came from a few key players Cherokee Bluff will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Janaye Walker, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 18 boards. The match was her fifth in a row with at least 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kassidy Neal, who shot 40% from the field en route to 20 points and eight rebounds.

Baldwin's victory bumped their record up to 25-6. As for Cherokee Bluff, their win bumped their record up to 24-8.
