Recap: AIMS College Prep Golden Eagles vs. Latitude Lynx
The AIMS College Prep Golden Eagles stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They blew past Latitude 76-27 at home. Winning may never get old, but AIMS College Prep sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Nahom Solomon continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten assists. Solomon is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cedric Powell, who scored 21 points.
AIMS College Prep's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-4. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 39.09 points. As for Latitude, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
AIMS College Prep will be playing at home against Leadership Public Schools Richmond at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Latitude will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Aspire Richmond Ca. College Preparatory Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 29th.
