Football Recap: Imani Christian Academy's Undefeated Season over After 13 Games + How To Watch

Imani Christian Academy and Avonworth squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Imani Christian Academy had to settle for second. They lost 30-6 to the Antelopes. The Saints were red-hot offensively heading into the game (they scored no less than 31 points in the seven contests prior), but the Antelopes' defense proved too tough.

Gabriel Jenkins threw for 119 yards on five of 19 attempts. Mikal Hall was his top target, picking up 54 receiving yards.

Luca Neal produced another solid effort rushing for 103 yards and one TD on only 13 carries, while also picking up 63 receiving yards for Avonworth.

Having lost for the first time this season, Imani Christian Academy fell to 12-1. As for Avonworth, the win keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.

Imani Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Avonworth, they will take on Penn Cambria at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' defense has only allowed 11.6 points per game this season, so the Antelopes' offense will have their work cut out for them.
