Basketball Recap: Summit Leadership Academy Takes a Loss

Summit Leadership Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 64-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Academy of Careers & Exploration Eagle. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the EAGLES this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-37 last Monday.

Despite the loss, Summit Leadership Academy still got an impressive performance from DayDay Hilt, who went 16 of 24 en route to 42 points.

Summit Leadership Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Academy of Careers & Exploration, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-4.

Summit Leadership Academy has already played their next match (against PAL Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Academy of Careers & Exploration will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Excelsior Charter at 7:00 p.m. on January 28th.
