Soccer Recap: Manning Takes a Loss

Manning was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Maranatha Christian Bulldogs, falling 7-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Maranatha Christian this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Tuesday.

Manning's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Maranatha Christian, the win keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Manning will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Sumter at 6:00 p.m. on April 3. As for Maranatha Christian, they will challenge Lake City at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
