Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Council Rock South). They were the clear victors by an 11-2 margin over the Harry S. Truman Tigers on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Golden Hawks sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Council Rock South let Drew Nemeth and Zak Abt run wild. Nemeth went 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI, while Abt got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Alcoff, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Council Rock South now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Harry S. Truman, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-18.

Looking ahead, Council Rock South will face off against Council Rock North at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Harry S. Truman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
