Baseball Recap: Minico Takes a Loss

Minico saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 10-5 to the Borah Lions. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dominic Garza was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3. That hit marked the first that he got this season.

Minico now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Borah, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

Coincidentally, Minico and Borah will both be playing Sandy the next time they take the field. Minico will head out to face Sandy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, while Borah will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
