Soccer Recap: Bishop Montgomery Gets the Win

Bishop Montgomery proved they can win big last Friday (they won by four) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Windward Wildcats. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Bishop Montgomery were the better team in the second half.

Bishop Montgomery's victory bumped their record up to 2-3-2. As for Windward, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1-1.

Bishop Montgomery has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against El Segundo on the 20th. As for Windward, after both having extra time off, they and Campbell Hall will shake off the rust and duke it out at 3:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026. This will be Windward's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
