Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Newman Central Catholic). They enjoyed a cozy 82-63 victory over the Morrison Mustangs on Wednesday. The win was nothing new for the Comets as they're now sitting on three straight.

Newman Central Catholic pushed their record up to 13-10 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points per game. As for Morrison, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-15.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Newman Central Catholic will head out to square off against Princeton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Morrison, they will take on Alleman at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
